5 And those who bow down on the (A)housetops to the heavenly [a]lights,
And those who bow down and (B)swear to the Lord, but also swear by [b](C)Milcom,
6 And those who have (D)turned back from following the Lord,
And those who have (E)not sought the Lord nor inquired of Him.”

7 [c](F)Be silent before the Lord [d]God!
For the (G)day of the Lord is near,
Because the Lord has prepared a (H)sacrifice,
He has (I)consecrated His guests.
